Huh, that's interesting. I've been to the Founders' Memorial a few times and never noticed anything like that. Maybe it's a subtle thermal feature? Some kind of ground-source heat pump thing they've cleverly integrated into the design? Or maybe it’s just a slightly different type of stone that absorbs or retains heat differently... I'd be curious to see what others say, or even check out some architectural plans if they're publicly available online. Could be nothing, could be something really cool. Definitely worth investigating further though!

Nah, you're not alone. I got the same vibe. It's all very polished, almost too perfect. Felt a bit… staged, you know? Like they meticulously crafted a narrative, but left out the messy, human bits. The history's there, obviously, but it's presented so… clinically. Maybe that's the point? To show a controlled version of the past? It's a beautiful monument, no doubt, but it definitely lacks the lived-in feel of, say, some of the older temples around the city. Makes you wonder what stories the marble's not telling.
