It's pretty crowded, especially during peak hours and weekends. Think less serene oasis, more… popular swimming pool. The view is undeniably amazing, no doubt about it, but you'll definitely be sharing it with a lot of other people. If a peaceful swim is your priority, you might be disappointed. Snapping pics from the edge is probably a safer bet to get that iconic view without the throngs of people. Honestly, the whole MBS experience is pretty overwhelming; the pool is just one small (albeit spectacular) part of it.

Early mornings, before 7 am, are your best bet. Or, try a weekday afternoon – the crowds thin out a bit then. Weekends are a total nightmare, avoid those entirely. Seriously, it’s a madhouse. Good luck, you'll need it!
