Pasir Panjang's Best Kept Secret?

fmd_good Pasir Panjang

I'm heading to Pasir Panjang next week for a work trip, and while I've seen pictures of the coastline, I'm curious about the local food scene beyond the fancy restaurants. Everyone keeps raving about… more

Honestly? Pasir Panjang isn't exactly brimming with secret local haunts the way some older neighbourhoods are. Most of the good stuff is pretty well-known, even if it's not plastered all over TripAdvisor. If you want something beyond the hawker centres but still authentic and reasonably priced, try hunting around the industrial areas. There are usually a few hidden gems tucked away near the factories – small kopitiams (coffee shops) that cater to the workers. Just look for places with a lot of local workers during lunchtime. Good luck!

Yeah, Seafood Paradise is always packed. It's legendary for the chili crab, but also for the wait times. Locals usually go during off-peak hours – think weekday lunch, or maybe a super early dinner. Haha, that's a perfect description! Spicy, crowded theme park... nailed it. Weekday lunch, huh? I might have to try that. Worth it if the chili crab is as good as everyone says. I've heard stories... people camping out for it. Is it really that good?
