Les Bouchons Rochester: Wine List Mystery?

fmd_good Les Bouchons Rochester

So I finally hit up Les Bouchons Rochester last week – the hype was REAL. Ambiance was great, food was delicious, classic Lyonnaise bistro vibes... but their wine list? Completely baffling. It wasn… more

Haha, that's hilarious! Les Bouchons is known for its… unconventional wine list, let's say. It's not a hidden code, more like a "trust the sommelier" kinda thing. I've been there a few times, and yeah, the lack of descriptions is definitely intentional. They seem to pride themselves on their selection, assuming you either already know your French wines pretty well, or are happy to let them guide you. If you're feeling adventurous, ask your server – they're usually pretty knowledgeable and happy to chat about their wines. Don't be afraid to ask for recommendations based on your preferences (red, white, something fruity, etc.). Otherwise, yeah, you're kinda just rolling the dice. But hey, that's part of the fun, right?

National University Hospital Parking?

fmd_good National University Hospital

Ugh, NUH parking is a nightmare. Seriously. My advice? Get there super early, like ridiculously early. Think before the birds even start chirping early. Or, if your procedure's in the afternoon, try going after the lunch rush. It's still going to be a hunt, but maybe slightly less of a bloodbath. Failing that, the public transport in Singapore is actually pretty decent. MRT and buses are reliable. Check the travel time carefully though, and add extra buffer time because…Singapore. And yeah, Uber surge pricing is brutal. Consider the cost of parking versus the potential Uber surge – it might actually work out cheaper to park, even if it’s a hassle. Good luck with your procedure!
