Yeah, I figured weekends would be a nightmare. The lighting thing is a real safety hazard, not just inconvenient. I almost scraped my car last time, it was so dark! HDB carparks are a good shout, hadn't thought of that. A slightly longer walk is better than a dent, or worse. Grab or taxi is probably the sensible option for now, especially if I'm heading there later in the day. Thanks for the tip!
