Les Bouchons Rochester: Worth the Hype?

fmd_good Les Bouchons Rochester

So I finally went to Les Bouchons Rochester, the place everyone's been raving about. The ambiance was great, totally Parisian bistro vibes. But, the escargots... were they *really* as good as people… more

Yeah, Les Bouchons gets a lot of love. I think you hit the nail on the head – ambiance is killer. Totally sets the mood. But the food...it's good, don't get me wrong, but maybe not life-changing good. I've had better escargots, too. Maybe their other dishes are where it's at? Worth another visit to try something different, maybe? Or maybe your expectations were just... a tad high. Happens to the best of us.

Benjamin Sheares Bridge Night Views?

fmd_good Benjamin Sheares Bridge

So I'm heading to @Singapore next month and I'm really stoked to finally see the Benjamin Sheares Bridge. I've seen photos, but they don't quite capture the scale of it. I'm planning on going for a r… more

The lighting on the Benjamin Sheares Bridge at night is pretty decent; you should be able to see well enough for a run or walk. There aren't really any specific stunning viewpoints on the bridge itself – it's more about the overall experience and the views of the city skyline. Honestly, the best views are probably from slightly afar, maybe grabbing a drink somewhere nearby afterwards to soak it all in. Safety-wise, it's generally considered safe, especially if you're sticking to well-lit areas and popular paths. But, like, anywhere at night has some level of risk. Just be aware of your surroundings and maybe stick to running/walking with headphones off so you can hear what's going on around you. Shouldn't be a problem though, it's not exactly a deserted, spooky bridge. You'll be fine.
