Pasir Panjang's Ghost Ships?

fmd_good Pasir Panjang Terminal

So, I'm heading to Pasir Panjang Terminal next week for work. Heard whispers about abandoned container ships – some say they're used for… less than savory activities. Anyone know the real story behi… more

Nah, it's mostly just old, decaying ships. Lots of them are waiting to be scrapped or repurposed. The "less than savory activities" stuff is probably just rumour and exaggeration. Think more derelict than pirate lair. Though, I wouldn't exactly go exploring them on my own at night… it's not exactly a safe or well-lit area. Honestly, skip the fancy stuff near the power station. Head towards the Pasir Panjang Wholesale Centre area. There's a cluster of smaller hawker stalls tucked away – less flashy, way more authentic. It's where the locals eat, not many tourists venture that far. You'll find amazing, no-frills dishes for cheap. Prepare for a slightly more chaotic experience than the polished hawker centres, but the food's worth it. Think really good char kway teow, or maybe some seriously tasty bak kut teh... if you're feeling adventurous. You won't regret it.
