It's definitely busy, especially during peak hours and weekends. Think "popular tourist attraction" levels of busy. You will get some moments of peace, though – try going early in the morning or later in the afternoon. Weekdays are generally less crowded than weekends. Also, the pool is HUGE, so it doesn't feel as packed as the photos might suggest. You'll still get your iconic shots, don't worry. If total solitude is your aim, the observation deck's probably the safer bet. But the pool experience is pretty special... even with the crowds.

Parking near Rhu Cross can be a nightmare. Forget shortcuts, your best bet is to just arrive early, really early. Like, before 9 am early. Or go late, after the evening rush. Otherwise, be prepared to circle. Seriously, it's a lottery. The view is worth it though, so plan accordingly. Maybe use a ride-hailing app to get there and back – saves the stress of parking entirely. Good luck!
