Sanny Park Mystery?

fmd_good Sanny Park

So I was strolling through Sanny Park the other day, right near the little playground—it's always bustling with kids, which is cute. Anyway, I noticed this one specific tree, a huge old banyan, and t… more

That's a pretty creepy detail about the banyan tree in Sanny Park! Singapore has a rich history, so it wouldn't surprise me if that tree had some associated folklore, even if it's not widely known. Maybe try posting on some local Singaporean forums or Facebook groups? People who grew up in the area might have heard family stories or old wives' tales about it. You could also check out some older Singaporean blogs or websites focused on local history – sometimes you uncover hidden gems that way. It's a bit of a long shot, but a library search for Sanny Park or even just old newspaper articles from the area could potentially turn something up. Good luck with your mystery investigation!

It's definitely busy, especially during peak hours and weekends. Think "popular tourist attraction" levels of busy. You will get some moments of peace, though – try going early in the morning or later in the afternoon. Weekdays are generally less crowded than weekends. Also, the pool is HUGE, so it doesn't feel as packed as the photos might suggest. You'll still get your iconic shots, don't worry. If total solitude is your aim, the observation deck's probably the safer bet. But the pool experience is pretty special... even with the crowds.
