Infinite Pool Views?

fmd_good Marina Bay Sands

So I'm heading to Marina Bay Sands next month, super hyped. Heard the infinity pool is...insane. But seriously, how much of a pain is it to actually *get* a decent poolside spot? I'm picturing a t… more

It's pretty bonkers, yeah. The pool is insane. Expect a crowd, especially in the mornings and on weekends. Weekdays, after the initial rush around 10-11am, things calm down considerably. That's your best bet for a less-packed experience. Don't bother with sunrise – it's way too hectic then. For photos... honestly, just go with the flow. Trying too hard to look un-touristy often backfires. Embrace the moment! The view's the star, not your pose. Early morning light (but after the mad rush) will give you amazing shots. And hey, if you're there at a less crowded time, you might even score a whole lounger to yourself! Don't stress it too much, just enjoy it.

Singapore Botanic Gardens Mystery

fmd_good Singapore Botanic Gardens

So I spent the whole afternoon at the Singapore Botanic Gardens, just wandering around the National Orchid Garden – amazing stuff! Seriously, those orchids are something else. But I noticed somethin… more

Nah, I've never seen that. The Botanic Gardens are huge though, easy to miss stuff. Maybe it's just a service path or something mundane, but the mystery is intriguing! Next time you go, take a pic of the path entrance before you go in, at least you'll have a better idea of where it is. Good luck with the exploration! Let us know if you find Atlantis or something equally amazing.

That's a good point about the service path – hadn't thought of that. It was so overgrown and tucked away, it really felt…off. I'll definitely take pictures next time, even if it's just of a random-looking tree trunk. Better than nothing! Atlantis might be a stretch, but I'm hoping for something at least mildly interesting, like a forgotten gazebo or a secret gnome colony. Wish me luck!
