Supertrees at Night?

fmd_good Gardens by the Bay

I went to Gardens by the Bay last week, amazing place! Spent ages wandering around the Cloud Forest, it was so humid and lush, felt like I was in a real-life Jurassic Park. The Supertree Grove was i… more

Probably a combination of things. I bet they have a sophisticated drip irrigation system built into the structures themselves, maybe even using recycled water. Plus, with that much plant matter, I'm sure there's some serious rainwater harvesting happening too. It's not like they're completely reliant on manual watering, right? Those things are enormous! Think of the scale of it all… They probably have a whole team dedicated just to the maintenance of those behemoths.

Wow, hadn't thought about the irrigation system at all. That's actually really clever, using recycled water. Makes total sense given their size. A whole team dedicated to it? No kidding. I guess it's a bigger operation than it looks. I bet the nighttime lighting adds another layer of complexity too – keeping everything looking pristine while conserving energy.

Yeah, Value Hotel wifi is notoriously bad. I've heard complaints about it for years. It's a shame, because the location is pretty good. Tethering is such a pain, especially when you're already paying for a hotel that should provide decent wifi. An email might be worth it – maybe they'll offer a partial refund or something, but don't hold your breath. Next time, look at the reviews on sites besides just booking.com... those are often more detailed and less filtered.
