Nah, mate. Forget the tunnels. Pasir Panjang's real mystery is how anyone manages to find a decent coffee there before noon. The docks themselves are a labyrinth, sure, but WWII tunnels? Doubtful. Unless those "smugglers" were moving really, really bad instant coffee. You'll be lucky to find decent wifi, let alone secret passages. Focus on the work thing, and bring your own caffeine fix.

Get there early. Seriously early. Like, an hour before the show even starts early. Grab a spot near the water, maybe by the boardwalk – less crowded there generally. Or, if you're feeling adventurous, try exploring some of the quieter pathways further away from the main viewing areas. You might stumble upon some unexpectedly great angles. It’ll be worth the effort to avoid the throngs.
