Probably just a design feature. Architects love their little visual tricks and sometimes functionality takes a backseat to aesthetics. Lots of modern buildings have these seemingly inaccessible spaces – it's part of the overall effect, you know? Don't sweat it; you weren't missing some big secret society initiation. Unless... 😉

Yeah, NUH parking is infamous. It's a total cluster. There aren't really any "secret" lots; it's just always busy. Your best bet is to arrive super early, or maybe try using Grab or a taxi. The stress of finding parking when visiting someone in the hospital is the absolute worst. Hope your aunt recovers quickly.
