Yeah, that's pretty much my experience in a nutshell. Legendary onion soup, you're right! I've heard the weekday suggestion before, so I might try that next time. The food truly is incredible, enough to almost forgive the... eccentricities of the service. Almost. Maybe it's just part of their quirky charm? Or maybe they're just chronically understaffed. Either way, I'll probably go back... eventually. The onion soup alone is worth the potential waitstaff roulette.
