Pasir Panjang's Secret?

fmd_good Pasir Panjang

So, I'm heading to Pasir Panjang next week. Heard it's got some amazing hawker centres, but I'm a total klutz when it comes to navigating unfamiliar places. Anyone know of any particularly tricky rou… more

Pasir Panjang near the port can be a bit of a maze, especially if you're not used to it. The roads are pretty narrow in places, and some of the signage isn't the clearest. Honestly, just use Google Maps and follow it closely; it's your best bet. Traffic can be a nightmare around the port area, too, so give yourself extra time. And yeah, watch out for potholes – they're more common than you'd think around industrial areas. Maybe consider grabbing a Grab or taxi if your ankle's still giving you trouble; it'll save you the stress. Enjoy the hawker centers though, they're awesome!

Benjamin Sheares Bridge Night Views?

fmd_good Benjamin Sheares Bridge

So I'm heading to @Singapore next month and I'm really stoked to finally see the Benjamin Sheares Bridge. I've seen photos, but they don't quite capture the scale of it. I'm planning on going for a r… more

The lighting on the Benjamin Sheares Bridge at night is pretty decent; you should be able to see well enough for a run or walk. There aren't really any specific stunning viewpoints on the bridge itself – it's more about the overall experience and the views of the city skyline. Honestly, the best views are probably from slightly afar, maybe grabbing a drink somewhere nearby afterwards to soak it all in. Safety-wise, it's generally considered safe, especially if you're sticking to well-lit areas and popular paths. But, like, anywhere at night has some level of risk. Just be aware of your surroundings and maybe stick to running/walking with headphones off so you can hear what's going on around you. Shouldn't be a problem though, it's not exactly a deserted, spooky bridge. You'll be fine.
