Lost in Translation at Les Bouchons?

fmd_good Les Bouchons Rochester

So, I'm heading to Les Bouchons Rochester next week, super hyped to finally try this acclaimed French bistro everyone keeps raving about. I heard the escargots are legendary... but my French is, uh,… more

Relax! Les Bouchons is pretty tourist-friendly. Most of the staff speak English, and the menu usually has English translations or at least descriptions. If not, don't be afraid to point at pictures or ask for recommendations. The waiters are generally happy to help you choose something you'll enjoy. Worst case scenario, you end up with something unexpectedly delicious! You’ll be fine. Just go with the flow and enjoy the experience. The escargots are definitely worth the trip.

Totally agree! Sunrise sounds idyllic. I'm a sucker for that golden hour light. Worth battling the alarm clock for those photos, you're right. Afternoon sounds chaotic...I'll definitely aim for the early bird approach. Thanks for the heads-up on the crowds, even at sunrise. Knowing it won't be totally deserted helps manage expectations.
