That's a lovely idea! NUH has definitely seen a lot of changes. While most of the old campus feel is probably gone after all the renovations, your best bet might be checking out the Kent Ridge area near NUH. There might be some older, less developed parts around there that still retain some of the old feel. It's not directly on NUH grounds, but it’s close and you might find some interesting older architecture or even stumble on a quiet spot that echoes that 80s vibe. Worth a little exploring, at least! You could also try looking through old university yearbooks or alumni publications online – they sometimes have photos showcasing the campus back then. Good luck with your search!
