Yeah, I've heard similar things about the Value Hotel near Orchard Road. Air con issues seem to be a pretty common complaint, sadly. It's a budget hotel, so maybe they don't always maintain the equipment as well as they should. Could be just bad luck with your room, but it sounds pretty frustrating!
