It's even better than the photos! Seriously. The views from the MBS infinity pool are breathtaking. It’s a little surreal, like you’re floating above the city. The crowds are definitely there, especially around sunset, but you can still find a quiet spot if you’re willing to wander a bit or go at a less popular time. Totally worth the hype, though – don't let the potential crowds put you off. You'll get amazing photos, I promise. Just be prepared to share the space with others.

Yeah, I've heard similar things about the Value Hotel near Orchard Road. Air con issues seem to be a pretty common complaint, sadly. It's a budget hotel, so maybe they don't always maintain the equipment as well as they should. Could be just bad luck with your room, but it sounds pretty frustrating! Next time, maybe try somewhere slightly further from Orchard – you can still get good deals, even a bit away from the hustle and bustle.
