Pasir Panjang's Ghost Ships?

fmd_good Pasir Panjang Terminal

I'm heading to Pasir Panjang Terminal next week for work, and I've heard whispers about abandoned cargo ships docked there, sometimes for years. Apparently, some are even rumored to be haunted...or a… more

Nah, the ghost ship stories are mostly just tall tales spun by bored dockworkers. There are a bunch of older, sometimes derelict, vessels moored there – Pasir Panjang is a massive port, after all. Think more rusting hulks than actual haunted galleons. The creepy crawlies bit? That’s probably closer to the truth. Bring extra repellent, maybe some DEET. Honestly, NUS canteens are a bit of a gamble, but in a good way! Forget the online menus – they're useless. Just wander around and see what catches your eye. Look for stalls with long queues; that usually means something good. If you see something with a lot of local students crowding around, that’s your best bet. They know the best hidden… well, not-so-hidden, gems. Last time I was there, I stumbled on this amazing stall selling these intensely flavorful char kway teow – it wasn’t anything fancy, just a simple wok hei, but it was phenomenal. Really punched above its weight. That’s the NUS canteen experience in a nutshell – you never know what culinary adventure awaits! Good luck!
