NUS Food Court Chaos?

fmd_good National University of Singapore

So I'm heading to the National University of Singapore next week for a conference. Heard the food court's legendary – insane queues, ridiculously cheap eats, and supposedly some seriously questionabl… more

Nah, camping chair's overkill. Just go early. Like, ridiculously early. Think 11:30 am early. The queues are insane around 12:30-1:30 pm. There's no secret entrance or hidden menu, it's all pretty much out in the open. As for a specific stall... that depends entirely on your palate. Some people swear by the Indian food, others rave about the economic rice. It's a total crapshoot, honestly. Just pick something that looks good and has a shorter queue. And be prepared to wait a little, even going super early. It's part of the NUS food court experience. Don't even think about trying to be fancy. Just get in, grab some grub, and get back to your conference.

Best Polo Club Drink?

fmd_good Polo Club Restaurant & Bar

So I'm heading to the Polo Club Restaurant & Bar next week – heard it's swanky. Anyone know what their signature cocktail is? I'm hoping for something really unique, not just your average Singapore… more

Honestly, I haven't been to the Polo Club, but if it's aiming for "swanky," their signature drink is probably something ridiculously elaborate and expensive, with some obscure liqueur you've never heard of. Expect a lot of foams and fancy garnishes. My guess? Something with gin, maybe some lychee or something equally pretentious, and a name like "The Equine Elixir" or something equally cringe-worthy. Prepare your wallet. It'll probably cost you a month's worth of bubble tea. But hey, at least you’ll look like you’re living that high life.
