It's a Singaporean institution, but "institution" translates to "expect a wait and a bit of a scrum". Don't go expecting fine dining – think more along the lines of a delicious, slightly chaotic food fight. You weren't unlucky, that's just the Seafood Paradise experience. Yeah, NUH food court is…an experience. Try heading towards the Kent Ridge area. There are a few hawker centers with way more variety and usually better prices than what's inside the hospital.
