That little garden on 10 sounds like a lifesaver. Seriously, hospitals can be sensory overload. I don't know of any other secret quiet spots in NUH offhand, but honestly, try checking out the higher floors. Sometimes they have smaller, less-used waiting areas or even just quiet corners near the nurses' stations (though obviously, be respectful of staff and patients). Failing that, maybe head to the hospital's rooftop – if they have one – at off-peak times. A bit of fresh air can do wonders.

Nah, the prawn mee legend is totally legit. It's not exactly hidden, more like...discreet. Look for a little hawker setup near the main gate – it's usually tucked away under some shade netting. Seriously, the queue is often insane, so be prepared to wait. Worth it though. Trust me on this one. Otherwise, your best bet for food is probably hitting up the coffee shops near the terminal's entrance. Not fancy, but they'll fill the hole. Good luck with the cargo!
