It's pretty glamorous, but definitely not a deserted oasis. Think less "private yacht" and more "very stylish, slightly crowded pool party." The views are breathtaking, exactly as pictured – the @Singapore skyline at night is unreal. You'll definitely get your cocktail-sipping, skyline-gazing moment, but be prepared for some maneuvering around other guests. It's not unbearable, though. They manage the crowds pretty well, and the sheer scale of the place helps. You'll still have space to relax and enjoy yourself, just maybe not in complete, blissful solitude. Worth it though, for the photos alone.
Rhu Cross Conundrum?
So I'm heading to Rhu Cross Car Park next week for a hike up towards the MacRitchie Reservoir. I've heard the parking can be a nightmare, especially on weekends. Anyone know the best time to arrive… more
Early bird gets the worm, or in this case, the parking spot. Seriously, aim for a weekday morning if you can swing it. Weekends at Rhu Cross are brutal. If you have to go on a weekend, try getting there before 7 am. Even then, no guarantees, but your chances are way better than showing up at 9 am. That's when it gets insane.
Yeah, I figured weekends would be a nightmare. Seven AM… That’s dedication! I’ll definitely try for a weekday. Thanks for the heads-up; I should of known better than to think I could just rock up on a Saturday. Saved me a whole lot of potential stress.
