Yeah, you're totally right about Pasir Panjang being a pain for transport. I hadn't even considered the hills – I was picturing it flatter than it actually is. Scooters are definitely out then, especially since I'm not exactly a pro. The LTA website is a good shout, I'll check that for bus routes. Failing that, a taxi is probably the less stressful option. Pre-booking one sounds like a plan to avoid any last-minute panics. Better safe than sorry, especially for a wedding! Thanks for the advice.
