Founders' Memorial Mystery

fmd_good Founders’ Memorial

So I finally went to the Founders' Memorial in Singapore. Stunning architecture, seriously. Spent hours wandering around, reading the plaques, even watched some of the videos. But I couldn't find a… more

I've been there myself, and I share your frustration – finding detailed info on the initial design process seems surprisingly difficult. I’d suggest trying the National Archives of Singapore. Honestly, Biopolis is a bit of a food desert. The cafes are… pricey. Your best bet is to walk out towards the One-North area. There are a few hawker centers within a reasonable walking distance (maybe 15-20 minutes) with way better and cheaper options. You'll find proper local food, not just the usual corporate fare. Grab might also be a good option for delivery if you're short on time during lunch breaks. Check out the food court at Fusionopolis, it's slightly further but has a decent variety. Otherwise, prepare for some serious ramen or sandwich choices if you're staying strictly in Biopolis.
