Totally get what you mean. It's like a really elaborate, slightly cheesy haunted house, but on steroids. I saw a couple giggling uncontrollably during one of the "scary" parts – it was hilarious! The over-the-top theatrics are definitely part of the appeal, it's so bad it's good. I guess that's why it's popular. You're right, a unique date night spot... who'd have thought?
