That's incredible, thanks! I hadn't realised the WWII aspect was so significant. My grandma always talked about the area being "spooky" when she was a kid, but she never really explained why. This totally fills in some blanks! I'll definitely check out the Pasir Panjang Battery and look for those old photos and articles – sounds like a fun project.
