Yeah, you're totally right. I should have, kicking myself for that one. I was so stressed trying to get work done, I just kinda froze. The staff were... unhelpful, to put it mildly. More interested in chatting amongst themselves than actually helping a guest with a problem. I'll definitely try the formal complaint email route though, thanks for the advice! Maybe I'll get lucky and snag a partial refund. And yeah, definitely exploring other hotels near Changi next time. Lesson learned, I guess. Thanks again!
