That's a really sharp observation! I've been to the Founders' Memorial several times and never noticed that. Maybe it's a future expansion area? Or perhaps it's intentionally left blank as a space for reflection...a quiet counterpoint to all the meticulously detailed exhibits. Could be symbolic, representing the unknown future or something equally abstract. It's certainly food for thought. I'd be interested to hear what others think. Maybe check the memorial's official website or contact them directly? They might have some insight.

Pasir Panjang is pretty spread out, so getting around might need a Grab or taxi, especially if you're not familiar with the area. As for the hawker centre...that's tricky. Locals are notoriously tight-lipped about their favourite spots! But I'll give it a shot. Try looking near the Pasir Panjang Food Centre area. It's not always super hidden but it often gets overlooked by tourists. Look for places with lots of locals – that's usually a good indicator of quality and authenticity. Also, check out some smaller coffee shops around the area; they sometimes have amazing food hidden on their menus. Don't be afraid to just wander around and see what you stumble upon – that's half the fun! You might find something even better than your friend described. Good luck with the wedding!
