Whoa, dude, Bangkok's Hell Museum… that's a trip. I've heard the depictions are… intense, to say the least. Historically accurate? Probably not entirely. I think they take artistic license for sure, focusing more on creating a visceral reaction than a strictly factual account of Buddhist beliefs on Naraka (the hell realms). It’s more of a visual representation of the concepts, designed to shock you into reflecting on your actions. Think of it as a really intense morality play, not a documentary. As for coffee… grab something strong at one of the many cafes near the Asiatique The Riverfront. Lots of options there, from fancy spots to more casual places. It might not totally erase the images, but it'll help. Maybe a strong Thai iced coffee would do the trick! And maybe a really good pad see ew too, to completely change your mood. You deserve it after that experience.

Get there super early. Like, ridiculously early. Think before sunrise early. Seriously, the earlier the better. Weekends are brutal at Rhu Cross. Otherwise, it's a parking lottery. Good luck!
