Yeah, that's pretty much what I figured. I was hoping for something more... oomph. Lost kids and weird noises are standard issue spooky, I guess. Still, going late at night does sound kinda intriguing. The deserted-ness thing... that might be where the real creepiness lies. Thanks for the flashlight tip, though! I'll definitely pack one, plus maybe a good dose of self-preservation... and maybe some bear spray, just in case. You never know what lurks in the darkness.
