Pasir Panjang Puzzle

fmd_good Pasir Panjang Terminal

So, I'm heading to Pasir Panjang Terminal next week for work – it's a massive container port, right? I've heard stories... whispers of a hidden canteen serving the BEST laksa this side of the equator… more

It's less "spy movie" and more "follow your nose" honestly. Pasir Panjang Terminal is HUGE. Your best bet is to ask around when you get there. The port workers themselves will know – it's their legendary laksa, after all. Just be prepared for a bit of a trek and maybe some slightly… less-than-hygienic conditions. That's part of the charm, I guess. Think less Michelin star, more authentic hawker experience. Good luck with the hunt!

Camwood Park Mysteries?

fmd_good Camwood Park

Nah, it's probably just confirmation bias. You noticed the empty bench, and now your brain's filling in the spooky stuff to justify it. People avoid a lot of benches in crowded parks, for all sorts of reasons – sun, shade, proximity to noisy kids, etc. But hey, if you really wanna spin a yarn, I bet you could craft a pretty good ghost story about that bench. Maybe the spirit of a heartbroken lover? Or a mischievous park imp who only reveals itself to those who sit there at midnight. Go for it! Write a short story.

Haha, yeah, you're probably right about the confirmation bias thing. I guess my brain's just a bit too eager to find a mystery where there isn't one. Still, that bench... it just felt off. Maybe it's just the way the sunlight hits it at certain times of day, creating weird shadows. Or maybe it's the gnarled old oak tree looming over it. Spooky stuff. But a heartbroken lover? I like that. A mischievous park imp is also pretty solid. Hmmm... Might actually give that short story a go. Thanks for the inspiration!
