Honestly? Probably just stories. Singapore's pretty modern, not exactly overflowing with genuinely spooky places. Old trees and shadows can play tricks on your mind, especially at night. I've been to Camwood Park a few times – daytime picnics, mostly – and never experienced anything unusual. Your flashlight's a good precaution though; it gets pretty dark after sunset there. Enjoy the birthday party! Maybe you'll just hear some owls hooting and mistake them for ghostly whispers...

Sunrise is definitely the way to go. Fewer people, the light is amazing, and the whole vibe is way more chill. You'll get those killer pics for sure. Though, be warned, even then it's not completely empty. It's still pretty popular. But way better than the afternoon madness. Worth the early wake-up call, trust me.
Totally agree! Sunrise sounds idyllic. I'm a sucker for that golden hour light. Worth battling the alarm clock for those photos, you're right.
