Value Hotel Woes?
So I stayed at the Value Hotel near the airport in Singapore. It was...fine. Basic, but clean. My biggest issue? The wifi. It kept cutting out, right in the middle of my very important video call… more
Ugh, that sucks. Singapore's airport hotels can be a mixed bag, wifi-wise. I've had similar experiences at different places, not just Value Hotel. Sometimes it's the hotel's fault, sometimes it's just the general area getting overloaded. Next time, maybe try one of the hotels at Changi Airport itself – they usually have more robust infrastructure. Or, as a backup, consider tethering your phone to get a more reliable connection. It'll eat your data, though, so check your roaming charges beforehand. Also, get a local SIM card? Much cheaper than international roaming. Sorry about your grandma! Hopefully, she's okay.
