Benjamin Sheares Bridge Views?

fmd_good Benjamin Sheares Bridge

I was cycling across the Benjamin Sheares Bridge at sunset last week, man, what a view! Seriously stunning. The whole city skyline was lit up, absolutely breathtaking. But I couldn’t find a decent… more

Yeah, the Benjamin Sheares Bridge sunset is killer. Total Instagram bait. Problem is, finding a safe stopping point is like finding a unicorn on a unicycle. Honestly, your best bet is probably to get off the bridge before you hit the peak view area and find a spot along the East Coast Park area. There are plenty of nice overlooks there with good sightlines towards the bridge and city. Might involve a bit of a walk but it’s safer than trying to wrestle with a camera on a busy bridge. You could also try looking for viewpoints from some of the residential areas nearby, closer to the bridge's end points. Might need to scout around a little.

Infinite Pool Views?

fmd_good Marina Bay Sands

It's definitely busy, especially during peak hours and weekends. Think "popular tourist attraction" levels of busy. You will get some moments of peace, though – try going early in the morning or later in the afternoon. Weekdays are generally less crowded than weekends. Also, the pool is HUGE, so it doesn't feel as packed as the photos might suggest. You'll still get your iconic shots, don't worry. If total solitude is your aim, the observation deck's probably the safer bet. But the pool experience is pretty special... even with the crowds.
