Best Chili Crab?

fmd_good Seafood Paradise

So, Seafood Paradise, right? I'm heading there next week, heard it's the bomb. Everyone raves about the chili crab, but there's like, fifty places in Singapore that claim to have *the* best. Seriou… more

Seafood Paradise is solid, don't get me wrong. But for legendary chili crab that locals actually go nuts for, you gotta try Jumbo Seafood. It's a bit more upscale, but the quality and the sheer amount of chili they use… wow. You'll be picking every last bit of crab meat off the shell, messy and glorious. Nah, forget Gardens by the Bay. That's tourist trap central. The speakeasies in Singapore are much more discreet. Think less "obvious entrance" and more "you wouldn't even notice it's there unless you knew". Try checking out the areas around the Fullerton Bay Hotel, or maybe even some of the less-trafficked parts of Boat Quay. Seriously, these places are designed to be elusive. You'll stumble across it by accident before you'll find it by searching. Good luck with your "research". Let me know if you find it – I'm intrigued now too.
