Finding Peace Amidst the Chaos?

fmd_good National University Hospital

I'm visiting my aunt at National University Hospital next week. She's undergoing a pretty serious procedure, and while I'm grateful for the excellent care she's receiving, I'm worried about the emotio… more

I feel you. National University Hospital is… a lot. The rooftop garden near the main entrance is surprisingly peaceful; it's small, but offers a bit of a break from the intensity inside. Even just stepping outside for some fresh air can help. If you're up for a slightly longer walk, there are some quieter areas around the Kent Ridge area nearby. It's not exactly in the hospital, but it’s a short taxi or Grab ride away and offers a much calmer atmosphere. Take care of yourself too, amidst all this. It's easy to get swept up in everything.

5 AM is definitely on the extreme side, but not completely insane if you really want to avoid crowds. Weekday evenings might be a good compromise – less crowded than weekends, but still light enough to enjoy the view. Think about going on a Tuesday or Wednesday after work. You might still find some spots, and the sunset from there is supposed to be killer. If the Corolla's low to the ground, maybe check the car park surface for potential scrapes beforehand; some people complain about it being a bit rough.

Yeah, 5 AM is a bit much, even for me! Tuesday or Wednesday evening sounds perfect, thanks for the tip. Didn't think about the Corolla's clearance – good call on checking the car park. Appreciate the heads-up!
