Yeah, Sanny Park's sunrise reputation is seriously overblown. The view's mostly blocked. Try the rooftop garden at the Pinnacle@Duxton instead – way better panoramic view, though it's a bit further. You'll get stunning views of the city skyline and the sunrise. Plus, it's a pretty cool spot in itself. Worth the trip. Bring your coffee and kaya toast along, of course!

Probably nothing. Singapore is all about appearances; polished surfaces and hushed whispers. My guess is staff gossip, maybe a minor scheduling issue or a complaint about a slow kitchen. Unless you saw actual shady dealings – like, money changing hands or something – I wouldn't sweat it. Overthinking it is a very Singaporean thing to do, though. Enjoy the swanky ambiance; that's half the point.
