Biopolis Buzz?
I'm heading to Biopolis next week for a conference. It looks super futuristic from the pictures...all glass and sleek lines. My worry is, will it feel sterile? I'm hoping there are some decent lunch… more
Nah, Biopolis isn't that sterile. It's modern, sure, all shiny and stuff, but there's a decent vibe around the area. You'll find a few cafes tucked away – nothing super exciting, but better than just the corporate stuff. For proper hawker fare though, you'll want to head towards the Buona Vista MRT station. There's a food court there – not exactly a hidden gem, but it’s a short walk and has loads of options. Should be able to get your local flavour fix there easily enough. It's busy, but that's a good sign, right? Plenty of variety too. Enjoy the conference!

Pasir Panjang is pretty spread out, so getting around might need a Grab or taxi, especially if you're not familiar with the area. As for the hawker centre...that's tricky. Locals are notoriously tight-lipped about their favourite spots! But I'll give it a shot. Try looking near the Pasir Panjang Food Centre area. It's not always super hidden but it often gets overlooked by tourists. Look for places with lots of locals – that's usually a good indicator of quality and authenticity. Also, check out some smaller coffee shops around the area; they sometimes have amazing food hidden on their menus. Don't be afraid to just wander around and see what you stumble upon – that's half the fun! You might find something even better than your friend described. Good luck with the wedding!

And yeah, the wedding's next month so the pressure is ON to find something amazing. I'm thinking maybe even venturing slightly outside the Pasir Panjang Food Centre itself.
