Totally get that. The Biopolis canteen is… functional, at best. That hawker centre sounds like a lifesaver though, thanks for the tip! A short bus ride is totally doable for better food. One-North sounds a bit pricier than I'd ideally like, but if the hawker centre doesn't hit the spot, I guess I'll have to explore that option. Yeah, Singapore's cost of living is no joke, I've already experienced that the hard way!
