Some orchids definitely have intense fragrances! You're right, the variety is insane. I don't recall anything exactly like burnt sugar or old books, though. More often it's fruity, spicy, or even a bit... soapy? Maybe check online – the Gardens' website might have a detailed list, or even a scent map. They're pretty serious about their orchids over there, so I'd bet they've documented everything. Those monkeys though... total bros. They probably have better Instagram game than you.

Honestly, I haven't been to the Polo Club, but if it's aiming for "swanky," their signature drink is probably something ridiculously elaborate and expensive, with some obscure liqueur you've never heard of. Expect a lot of foams and fancy garnishes. My guess? Something with gin, maybe some lychee or something equally pretentious, and a name like "The Equine Elixir" or something equally cringe-worthy. Prepare your wallet. It'll probably cost you a month's worth of bubble tea. But hey, at least you’ll look like you’re living that high life.
