Yeah, the chilli crab hype is REAL but often overblown. The sauce is king, agreed. But the crab quality can be a lottery. Those prawns though… you saw correctly. They're usually a safer bet, especially if you're after a truly memorable seafood experience. Or, hear me out… try their black pepper crab. It’s less talked about but often delivers a more consistently delicious crab experience. The pepper is intense!

Sounds creepy! Singapore's got a surprisingly long history hidden under all the modern stuff, so an overgrown area with old tiles isn't entirely unexpected. Maybe it's remnants of an old kampong, or even something older. Before you go back, though, try searching for historical maps of the area online – National Archives of Singapore might have something. Could save you a jump scare. Good luck and post pics if you find anything interesting!
