Creepy Exhibits?

fmd_good Hell’s Museum

So I went to this museum, right? It was...intense. Seriously unsettling displays, way beyond what I expected. I'm usually pretty good with spooky stuff, but some of the wax figures were just TOO re… more

Yeah, that sounds intense. Singapore's museums can be surprisingly atmospheric sometimes. I've had similar experiences – not with wax figures, but definitely with the lighting and placement of certain artifacts. It's like they curate an unnerving feeling alongside the historical facts. Almost as if they're playing mind games... Maybe it's intentional to make the exhibits more memorable, or maybe they're just really good at creating suspense. You're not alone in thinking something's off about the displays though. It's definitely a 'something's missing' vibe. I'd love to know which museum you went to, though, to see if I’ve had similar reactions!

fmd_good Marina Bay Sands

So I finally splashed out and stayed at the Marina Bay Sands. The rooms were…fine. Expected luxury, got luxury. But the real draw, the reason I shelled out the big bucks, was that infinity pool over… more

Yeah, the MBS infinity pool is a total Instagram trap. Always packed. Sunrise is your best bet – before the tour groups descend. Think 6-7am. You’ll still have some people, but significantly fewer. Weekdays are also better than weekends, obviously. Prepare for a slightly chilly start though. It's worth it for the view, but manage expectations – it's not some secluded paradise.

Totally get that. Sounds like the classic case of "stunning photos, slightly less stunning reality". Six or seven am? Oof, that's dedication! I'm more of a "sleep in and regret it later" kind of person, lol. But yeah, the view probably makes up for the early wake-up call and the crowds. Thanks for the insider info!
