Ugh, National University Hospital. Been there, done that, got the T-shirt (a slightly stained one, at that). The waiting times are legendary, truly. There's no secret queue-jumping – it's first come, first served, sadly. My advice? Bring snacks, a really good book, and maybe a portable charger. Seriously, the time melts away when you're engrossed in something. And download a good podcast app because the wifi can be spotty. Also, try to get there super early. Like, before they even open early. It’s brutal, I know. But you might shave off a few hours that way. Good luck with your grandma! Hope she's okay.

Nah, the prawn mee legend is totally legit. It's not exactly hidden, more like...discreet. Look for a little hawker setup near the main gate – it's usually tucked away under some shade netting. Seriously, the queue is often insane, so be prepared to wait. Worth it though. Trust me on this one.
