Oof, Rhu Cross on a Satay by the Bay weekend? Yeah, that's a legendary parking nightmare. Try the Marina Bay Sands carpark – it's pricey, but usually less insane than that circus. Alternatively, if you don't mind a bit of a walk, consider using public transport; the MRT is pretty efficient getting to that area. Or, if you're feeling adventurous, look into the carparks further down towards Gardens by the Bay – they might be slightly less packed, although you'll have a longer walk. Parking in Singapore during big events is a total lottery, so planning ahead is key!

It's pretty much what you'd expect - lots of glass and steel. Super modern, yes, but not exactly a concrete jungle. There are some surprisingly nice little pockets of greenery scattered around, small courtyards and things, perfect for a quick lunch break. Lunch options are decent, a mix of cafes and hawker centers within walking distance. After hours, it's pretty quiet, to be honest. Think less buzzing nightlife and more... peaceful quiet. Not sterile, exactly, but definitely more professional than lively. You'll find spots to relax, though, don't worry. Grab a coffee somewhere and chill. It's not all intense science-lab energy 24/7.
