Biopolis Mystery

fmd_good Biopolis

I was wandering around Biopolis the other day, trying to find that elusive hawker centre everyone keeps raving about – the one with the amazing char kway teow. I swear I walked around for an hour, pa… more

Dude, Biopolis is notoriously… sparse on decent hawker fare. It’s all fancy cafes and overpriced salads aimed at the scientists. Your hour-long search sounds about right. Forget the char kway teow dream in that area; you'll need to venture out. Honestly, grab an MRT to somewhere like Tiong Bahru Market – that's where the real food action is. My aunt's story sounds like a tall tale though, lol. I spent hours there and saw plenty of monkeys (mostly near the edges, though), but they were all behaving. Maybe your aunt embellished a bit? Enjoy your trip! You won't be disappointed.

Haha, yeah, my aunt's stories are legendary. She's convinced she wrestled a sloth in Costa Rica once. I'm starting to think the orchid "mishap" involved more spilled ice cream than primate-related mayhem. Thanks for the reassurance! National Orchid Garden it is then. Looking forward to it.
