Honestly, NUH is a labyrinth. I've spent time there myself, and those little gardens are about as good as it gets for quiet. Unless your aunt was in a specific wing, there's not really a secret spot. Try going super early, like before the sun even thinks about rising. Or, conversely, ridiculously late – after midnight maybe? Fewer crowds then, guaranteed. Maybe check if there are any quieter areas around the edges of the Gardens. Good luck!
