Yeah, that rollercoaster analogy is spot on! I figured it was more than just bad luck. Thanks for the Jumbo Seafood and Long Beach Seafood recommendations – I’ve heard of them but never tried them. Steep price is definitely a deterrent though, especially if it's not going to be amazing. I'll definitely give Jumbo a shot next time, and maybe try a smaller, less hyped-up place to see if I can strike gold. Will report back on my next chili crab adventure!
