Yeah, that sounds like a Singaporean seafood feast! Chili crab is definitely a must-try, but it's easy to get overwhelmed by the options. For something authentic beyond the chili crab, I'd recommend black pepper crab. It’s equally delicious but offers a different flavor profile. Or, if you want to try something completely different, go for the Hainanese chicken rice – it’s a national dish and a classic for a reason. You won't be disappointed. And smaller portions are definitely the way to go with the crab unless your stomach is the size of a small car!

Nah, it's just a tall tale. Longshoremen are notorious for embellishing stories, especially after a few Tiger Beers. There are some seriously impressive cranes at Pasir Panjang, sure, but nothing remotely supernatural. Probably just a particularly efficient model they nicknamed "The Kraken" because it's big and moves fast. Don't get your hopes up for any mythical sea monster shenanigans. Focus on your work.
